My first time in NYC, and i fell in love. I have been wanting to go for years but time was never right and it was always a little pricey. But now that we have discovered Airbnb, it makes traveling more possible. We shared the apartment with the owners and they were so great! They had two adorable dogs which helped make it feel like home. I must say that staying in an Airbnb anywhere feels like home, and in NYC it's even more so. We walked around NYC every day, admiring the architecture, and the history. We took a boat ride to The Statue of Liberty one night. You can grab the boat by the Intrepid, the ride is free and all you need to do is buy a drink. You can also make dinner reservations and enjoy a nice dinner on the water with views of Jersey, NYC and of course The Statue of Liberty. We ate a lot and ate everywhere while in NYC. And of course, we hit up Halal Guys. For those of you haven't heard of Halal Guys, its a food cart that sells Middle Eastern/Mediterranean bowls. We also did a little bit of shopping, we checked out the iconic Macy's and Sak's Fith Avenue. We also saw The Book of Mormon, and went to a Yankee game (vs the Dodgers!). I loved NYC so much, i started looking into flights back to the city while still in the city! <3

Our cute roommates

A walk through Central Park, Central Park is massive, we only walked a small portion that was near our Airbnb apartment. There is also a store that was recommend to me by a co-worker called Century 21, it's like a Nordstrom Rack but has designers from all over the world. The store is also sectioned off by style like "European Designers" and they have a LX&R Co (they have pre-owned handbags). They had so much clothes, unfortunately I didn't see anything that caught my eye, but if you are ever in the area stop by you will be amazed at all of the clothes. Also, i think they have 2 or 3 other locations throughout the city, so stop by!

Times Square

Time Square is crazy busy, stores like Forever 21 and HM are open way passed midnight! like 2-3am!

Recommended by a co-worker we went to 230 Fifth, a rooftop bar with perfect views of the city and as you can see below, the Empire State Building.

Taking a break to cool off, on our way to the boat.

It was so hot in NYC, I needed to buy something to wear (good excuse right? lol)!

We went in September and i was expecting 'fall'... silly me. It's HOT in NYC! We just happened to be there when there during a heat wave -_-.

Top and Shorts from HM.

Shoes: Dolce Vita, purchased at Nordstrom during the Spring.

Lady Liberty

View from the boat

Our meal from Gotham Market: Ramen and Buns from Ivan Ramen Slurp Shop, and a chicken sandwich from Genuine Roadside.

The old wooden escalator in Macy's.

Standing inside the hallway & outside at our Airbnb apartment, on my way to the show.

Dress: Somedays Lovin'- purchased on Revolve, no longer available.

Wedges: Dolce Vita, so comfortable i wore these just about everyday, walking MILES in NYC, no complaints!

The ceiling at Lillie's Victorian, a restaurant across the street from the Eugene O'Neil Theater where we enjoyed mimosas before the show.

Admiring the elaborate decor.

Ready for the show :)

Chinese food in the Finance District at China Chalet. The food was great, fried noodles with chicken and the yummiest dumplings.

The 9/11 Memorial

The cute clean alley behind behind our Airbnb, this was taken on the outdoor patio/balcony.

Out and about in NYC

So much to see!

Sushi lunch at Natsumi

That tower looked like it had ice on top but its like clear gelatin with tuna, avocado, and spicy tuna with a little bit rice and mango. It was SO good! Highly recommend this one.

Sushi platter, above.

Dodgers Vs Yankees

Until next time, NYC.
