The Perfect Summer Dress

I love a good summer dress. H&M recently came out the perfect California summer dress. This yellow number stood out the second i saw it. Bright and light, perfect for strolling around Pasadena. It's a single layer spaghetti strap dress with a loop/gathering in the front. It goes about mid-calf, could be considered a midi. It was pretty hot the day i wore it out, probably over 100 degrees. It was light enough to keep me cool but also the material is thick enough and the dress is long enough that I didn't need a cardigan or sweater at night. I paired it with my black Ferragamo bag and black Via Spiga slip on sandals i found at Nordstrom Rack earlier that week. Who remembers the song 'black and yellow'? LOL
You will probably see me wearing this dress straight thru fall as well. I'll add a denim jacket or even a dark suede jacket with a pair of white sneakers.
