Topshop Pinafore & booties

Who remembers overalls? The OG jumper lol. Topshop has a few pinafore dresses that take me back to my middle school days wearing overall shorts, with my k-swiss sneakers.

This dress from Topshop is very similar to overalls with the buckle closures. Its a nice thick burgundy corduroy with pockets on the front. It's a pretty decent length, just right above the knee, maybe mid thigh. The burgundy color works great for winter and spring. When spring comes around i could wear this with more floral prints and pastels to brighten it up.

For a wintery but sunny day in LA i paired this dress with a cream (almost white) cashmere top from Banana Republic, and black patent leather booties from Marc Fisher. These booties are so comfortable! I could walk in them all day.
