Las Vegas, the city that never sleeps. We came here for a tax seminar my boyfriend needed for work. I just tagged along for the trip :).

We stayed at the Mlife resort Bellagio. The Bellagio has most comfortable beds, almost all of the rooms have a great view of the fountains, and the staff is always helpful and nice! Couldn't be happier with the customer service there. We were there in late August so it was HOT, like Las Vegas desert HOT. But, Bellagio has multiple pools on the property so there is plenty of room for everyone to cool off. They have a very attentive wait staff for the pool area, so we ordered lunch and drinks by the pool, just perfect!

For dinner we went to Herringbone at Aria, another Mlife resort. Herringbone has the cutest outdoor sitting area with more than enough AC units outside to help from over heating in the Las Vegas heat. If you haven't been to Vegas, and if you go during the summer months, which are June-August, keep in mind that the nights are just as hot as the days, easily 80-90 degrees at night. We also tried out Julian Serrano (Spanish tapas) at Aria and Sushisamba at the Venetian. And enjoyed "O" Ciqeu de Soliel at Bellagio, this was my first Cirque de Soliel show.

I found the most perfect Vegas sandal. These are Sam Edelman and they wrap around the ankle. I walked up and down the strip in these with no issues, the perfect summer sandal! Similar here.

Dinner at Julian:

We ordered a salmon carpacio, spicy shrimp, a Spanish meat sampler, Spanish chorizo with honey and mashed potatoes and churrors with a chili chocolate dipping sauce.
