Spring time in the city.
We had the opportunity to go to San Francisco twice within the last 2 years and both times took trips to Napa Valley with Napa Valley Wine Country Tours. We loved the tour the first time we had to do it again. They made it really easy to be able to visit both cities in one trip. Napa is about an hour to hour and a half from the city, and this tour company has pick up all around downtown SF. They picked us up, had some mimosas on the bus with some breakfast pastries, and fruit. We had one stop at the Golden Gate bridge before heading straight to Napa. In Napa we visited 4-5 Wineries, and 2-3 of those wineries included a few tastings. And good thing lunch was included on this tour (after a few drinks you start to get a little light headed), we had sandwiches and salads.
Favorite place to stay in SF is the Palace Hotel, centrally located and has it's own ghirardelli downstairs (i would stay there just for the chocolate).
Hop-on hop-ff double decker bus tours are the easiest way to get around, we use them as a taxi. Just pick a line that has the most stops in the areas you want to see. Plus side, you get to see everything from up high and way cheaper than ubering or taxing everywhere.
Check out some of our pictures from both trips below.
I'll be making a food post on our favorite places, stay tuned :)
